Updown has several beautiful spaces for a whole range of events, be it private dinner, family party or company retreat. Please get in touch with our events team at events@updownfarmhouse.com for further information or for help planning and booking a function.

The House
With bedrooms for up to 22 guests and a drawing room, library and honesty bar, the whole house is perfect for small group wanting to celebrate in style and privacy for a night or whole weekend.

The Library
AKA the orange room is located in the Farmhouse and can be closed off to accommodate up to 12 people seated or 20 standing for any occasion. We can provide a screen for presentations.

Private Dining Room
Our Private Dining Room is located in the conservatory in the farmhouse, with French windows opening up to its own beautiful garden. This exceptional room can accommodate up to 20 people for a seated event, or more for an informal party. You’re welcome to use the garden before or after for drinks, or even to dine outside if the weather permits.

The Grounds
Updown has over seven acres in which you could hold an event; from an Easter egg hunt to a company Summer party, the grounds can accommodate almost as many as you like.

Conservatory and Pergola Restaurant
The main restaurant can accommodate up to 70 sitting or 150 standing and includes the outdoor wood fired kitchen and the surrounding lawn, ideal for a large gathering to celebrate any occasion.

The Gatehouse
The gatehouse sits next to the main house and can accommodate up to 15 people comfortably for a private party. It includes its own bathroom and private terrace overlooking the kitchen garden.

Corporate Events 
Whether it’s for team away days, staff Summer or Christmas Parties, award ceremonies or management meetings, we can cater for corporate events of all shapes and sizes. We can offer:

Updown offers a tranquil and remote environment to escape to. Experience a productive morning meeting with hot beverages and fresh pasties on arrival, followed by a delicious three course seasonal lunch in the garden restaurant.

Spend the afternoon exploring one of the many experiences Updown has to offer such as seasonal spritz making, wine tasting, garden tours with flower arranging or garden workshops; focaccia or pasta making in the kitchen.
